:Stand Up for South Wales Comedy Festival
Have you always wanted to try Stand-Up Comedy but didn’t know where to start? 

If you have answered ‘yes’ or ‘er…’ then this one day Stand-Up Workshop is for you. 

Run by award-wining writer and comedian Bennett Arron, who was a finalist in the BBC Comedy Awards and has supported Ricky Gervais on tour, you will learn
  •   What is your own style. 
  •  How to come up with your own ideas and how to write the material 
  •  Various styles of humour· What is the ‘rule of three’ 
  •  How to hold the attention of a room· How to deal with hecklers 
  •  How you start getting gigs. 
  •  How the comedy industry works and who are the best agents to approach 

There will be a mix of improvisation and scripted material. 
Come prepared.Over 16s only. 

 This course normally cost £100 but as part of the Festival, Stand Up for South Wales are subsidising spaces so that it costs just £22!

This workshop will take place at Neath Community Centre
