At Gwyn Hall, we’re committed to making cinema accessible to all. Our Relaxed Screenings provide a welcoming and supportive environment with small adjustments to create a more comfortable cinema experience for everyone.
With a few simple adjustments to the usual cinema environment, we aim to remove barriers and help more people feel comfortable enjoying the latest films with family and friends. Our relaxed atmosphere allows guests to experience cinema in a way that works for them.
What to Expect
Our Relaxed Screenings have been adapted to make the cinema experience as accessible and enjoyable as possible:
- Reduced soundtrack volume
- Low-level lighting left on throughout the film
- Freedom to move around, make noise, or leave and return during the screening
- A designated quiet area outside the Cinema POD if guests need a break
- No adverts or trailers before the main feature starts
- A friendly and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy cinema in their own way
