Sinema

Dangosiadau gydag Isdeitlau

We run regular subtitled screenings, showing a range of different films, so if you are deaf or hard of hearing, check them out! Not being able to hear the dialogue doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a great movie. Please click here for more information

Audio Description

We offer Audio Description on a select number of films each week. The normal film soundtrack is broadcast to speakers in the usual way, while a recorded narrator explains what’s happening on screen through personal headphones.

Dangosiadau Ymlaciedig

People may experience many barriers when considering a trip to the cinema, and it’s our intention to break down these barriers and welcome everyone into a relaxed atmosphere.

At a relaxed screening, the soundtrack volume is reduced, and low lights are left on. It’s fine to make noise, move around or leave the cinema. We also provide a designated “quiet” area outside the POD, should things become a bit too much or a little break is needed from the film.

There are no adverts or trailers before the film so that customers can fully enjoy the main feature

Screenings will always be flagged up on this page and you can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates.

We want to be a welcoming Theatre and Cinema and recognise the right of customers to attend the venue with a service/assistance or emotional support dog.

Gwyn Hall allows Service Dogs (SD) and Emotional Support Dogs (ESD) to accompany their handler to any location in the building or facility where members of the public or persons are permitted.

We request that, if you plan to visit us with a SD or ESD, you notify us in advance of your visit and book your tickets in advance so we can ensure we can accommodate this.
